The Asian Mission in Canada is currently hiring a project staff member to organize and coordinate the Inaugural Asian Mission Conference to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, in October 2010.
Position:
The successful candidate, under the direction of the Bishop for Asian Mission, will be responsible for the execution of resolutions and planning of the Conference Working Committee, liaison with the Bishop, ANiC communication officer, and church leaders for good communication, and the coordination of volunteers in the operation of the event. The position requires working from home office.
Qualifications:
The position requires knowledge and experience in working with the computer and various software programs, plus a good command of the English and Chinese languages spoken and written. The successful candidate will be a self-starter as well as a team player. Familiarity with and ongoing connections with the Greater Vancouver-area Asian-Canadian Christian community is an asset.
Compensation:
A lump sum amount will be paid out for the completion of the project.
